Sophie Maree x ARTI11 | The Hague 5 - 9 October 2011
The art, design and taste fair ARTI11 will be held from 5 to 9 October at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague. ARTI has developed into an innovative fair for art lovers and collectors alike. ARTI focuses on contemporary art and is located in a former industrial building, the old Fokker airplane hangar which has been transformed into an event hall. Some 40 galleries and design studios will be showing off the work of the artists they represent at ARTI11 including Sophie Maree.
Sophie Maree presents the work of contemporary artists, with an emphasis on photography. The photographers presented by Sophie Maree have a vision. What they share is their dedication, passion for the profession and their unique view of the world.
Sophie Maree focuses on photography that has a connection with the Dutch painting as we know from the Golden Age in the Netherlands. Inspired subjects of the photo’s are, like at that time: portrait, landscape, still life, genre paintings and historical pieces explaining the connection between painting and photography.
For ARTI11 the gallery will present two new editions of PULP 2.0 and Ornamental Inheritance Vessels.
